FORGE COURSE

The Forge Pioneer Course is a leadership training and mentoring programme for those who sense that God might be leading them into creating new expressions of church.

Forge is a global movement with locations in Canada, Scotland, Sweden, Australia, and more. Forge Ireland began back in 2018/2019. The movement is a training and resourcing organisation for new missional expressions of church. They seek to journey with those, whether individuals or communities, who want to see something fresh and new happen in mission and church!

The Forge Pioneer Course is a leadership training and mentoring programme for those who sense that God might be leading them into creating new expressions of church. Through a combination of teaching, mentoring and assignments, our aim is to prepare people to launch into what God is calling them to do. Forge Ireland is led by active missional practitioners who are able to offer significant experiential training in pioneering contexts.

The purpose of the pioneering course is to validate the pioneering spirit, creating a beachhead for making Kingdom ground and championing a voice for change in church as we know it.

The pioneer course explores the questions raised by church, culture & Kingdom as well as fostering relationships between like-minded, Kingdom-seeking trail-blazers and connects them with others on the same journey.

NEW: This year we are piloting a new stream within Forge for those interested in exploring Missional Enterprise.

Exploring Redemptive Entrepreneurship
What is missional / redemptive enterprise? How does it relate to reimagining mission & church & discipleship?  What new forms of leadership does it require?
What would it look like to see  enterprises and business develop that are centred on participating in the redemptive activity of God’s kingdom….?

This stream of the Forge course will explore these questions with content & stories from various practitioners, as well as fostering a learning community that inspires & supports
